Wearing the Correct Safety Boots Can Protect Your Feet

On average every year in the United States more than 100,000 work related foot injuries occur. This is way too many occurrences of something that can be prevented by wearing the proper footwear. It is really only a commonsense thing to get yourself some protective shoes or shoes for work as our feet get abused enough on daily basis throughout the day to not justify them.

If you work in a field that put your feet in any type of danger such as construction or working in possibly a paper mill or something that sort, it is even more crucial for you to look into getting some proper safety shoes. At a lot of the different factories and workplaces in the US, you are required to wear protective footwear, and it is not optional. There are quite a few different shoes on the market that will also have steel plates on the underside of the soles so if you step on me or other sharp object it won't puncture into your foot.

Safety is pretty much the responsibility of the individual, so if you are working in a situation that is unsafe you need to keep yourself up to date on any of the dangers that exist in the area and protect yourself from these hazards. One of the biggest causes of injury is from people not paying attention to proper safety procedures and taking shortcuts to save time or to make the task easier.

Whenever you are exposed to an environment that is potentially dangerous, you need to always pay attention to everything that is going on around you, as nobody wants to witness an accident or be hurt in something that could have been prevented if people were paying attention. You should also be considerate of those who work with you and around you and keep their safety in mind too. Making sure that your safety equipment has not damaged before work is critical, so you need to inspect it each day. Don't be one of the fatalities that happen because of your lack of attention. Try to keep yourself at a pace that is safe and comfortable, and never let your work area become full of debris and clutter.

Protecting your feet with the proper protective footgear is essential if you want to be sure that you have a certain amount of protection in these type of environments. Wearing protective isn't going to absolutely protect you from every accident completely, but it does have the effect of making the accident less severe when it does happen. It has been found that three out of four people who enjoy their feet on the job didn't have any type of protective footwear on their feet. The reasons that people gave  for not wearing safety footwear are excuses like the fact that the boots were too uncomfortable, or they get really think that it would do a lot to help prevent a foot injury. The fact is, it's a lot more uncomfortable to have an injured foot than it is to wear a men's work boot.

These days you have the option of buying protective footwear that is extremely light weight and attractive, unlike the days of the past when they were ugly and extremely heavy. Regardless, the prevention of injury to your feet is an important matter that should not be neglected.

Yogic Diet

This is very important, if you wish to get back into shape and develop a healthy, slim and shapely physique. Let your diet be Yogic and Sattvic (pure, light and predominantly vegetarian). This means plenty of raw foods – salads, sprouts and seasonal fruit – vegetable juices, dried fruits and loads of water.

Avoid potatoes, peas, chick peas, grams, peanuts, all non-veg fare, fried, fatty and spicy foods, junk / fast foods, packaged foodstuffs and confectionary products. Also keep away from milk and milk products such as cheeses and butter. But you may have plenty of diluted buttermilk prepared from skimmed milk. Avoid snacking between meals and, as mentioned before, never skip a meal.
