Weight Loss Made Easy
It is almost certain that you have been scouring the World Wide Web to know how to lose weight fast. And it is also with no doubt that you have come across with Fat Loss 4 Idiots. It is hard not to because almost everywhere you look on the web, there it is… Fat Loss 4 Idiots!
Like with any fad diet or popular meal plan, many cynics will claim it as a scam yet there are also countless of people that approves of its effectiveness. It makes you wonder, “What is the real score?” Is it just hogwash or is it really that effective?
Well, to many of you, it will come as a pleasant surprise; the diet system called Fat Loss 4 Idiots is one of the most creative and practical methods of losing weight. Instead of discouraging you from eating types of food that you may like or compelling you to eat like a rabbit and pushing you to workout like an athlete, the fat loss program lets you enjoy your kind of foods in a smart and innovative manner.
The Fat Loss 4 Idiots Program essentially revolves around these two ideas:
1) Maintenance of Metabolism
Many diets do not put emphasis on the timing of your meals. Whatever these diets let you eat, they typically let you consume three large-sized meals per day. Eating this way will cause fluctuations in your body’s metabolism. High metabolic rates will occur after every big meal and will drop to significantly low levels when in between meals. Such diet programs are strict and won’t even allow you to have snacks between meals. A bit of faltering will make you pack on some unwanted calories. As a result, you will lose a few pounds but gain more back in a few days.
Typical effects of many popular diets are lethargy and stress due to deprivation and starvation. These diets may even get you heavier in the end.
What Fat Loss 4 Idiots does is completely eliminating this metabolism rollercoaster that you may encounter in other diets by spacing out the meals on regular intervals during the day. As a consequence, metabolism fluctuations are prevented, priming you for fat loss!
2) Calorie Shifting
Having a steady metabolism will position your body to a fat loss state whereas calorie shifting will be the process that will make you lose fat! It is this method that actually makes you eat what you want and still lose weight.
Here’s how it works…
Popular diets put too much emphasis on the exact types of food to consume. They have STRICT rules on what not to eat as well. Imagine not eating red meat, chocolate, bread, or pasta at any cost. Cheating, even for just a bit, will destroy your program and may even put your goals in jeopardy!
The Fat Loss 4 Idiots program does not focus too much on the type of food. You are definitely allowed to eat the food you desire and not feel guilty about it. Shifting of calories will literally trick your metabolism to maintain its rate. Consequently, your body will be constantly on the state of fat loss.
The quickest way to lose weight is no longer a myth. Fat Loss for idiots is one of the most beneficial fat burning diets available today!
Which heart rate monitor will best meet my needs?
I do a mix of weight training and cardio.
What I need is the ability to track my heart rate, calories burned as well as alarm and time "on the same screen" rather than having to toggle between different screens. other features are not essential.
Can you please mention the make and the model and if you know where I can find the best price.
You want a simple screen (your heart rate) not tons of info about calories expenditure or what time it is.
My heart rate monitor is a Polar Target.
The chest band is “Made in Finland” (avoid anything Chinese especially if it has moving parts). Both the watch and the chest band have 0537 numbers on them (but I bought it in 2000 so they probably changed model numbers since then).
I highly recommend that brand (other brands could be as good, I don’t know, as I only have experience with that brand). They have a very good customer service when you need them to replace the battery as you cannot change the battery yourself or it would not be waterproof anymore. You can use it swimming but I like it to be waterproof just because when you exercise and sweat while wearing a chest transmitter, you want something waterproof and impervious to your sweating.
I bought it in 2000 and had to change the battery (of the watch) only once (maybe I should exercise more!).
The original cost was like $120 but I bought in on sale (maybe half price) at Sports Authority.
11 years ago, heart rate monitors cost more than nowadays because the Chinese now make everything cheap (you can find some for about $30 at Amazon.com...they have customers’ reviews there). Be aware that lower cost very often means “bad quality Chinese crap”. As far as exercise equipment goes and watches and even clothing, you DO NOT want a cheap price (unless it’s a high price that is 50% off on sale). You really get what you paid for. Even on Amazon.com, which is a site that I trust, there is no mention of “made in China” crap when it’s made in China. I got fooled once as well when I bought a cheap American Indian dream catcher and ended up with “made in China” piece of crap (even the wood branch is plastic but the feathers are real, I wonder how many animals they slaughtered to get those feathers). The people at Amazon.com got fooled too and took if off their site after numerous complaints from customers. Hurrah for them!
That fake dream catcher is still hanging over my bed because I don’t have nightmares when I think about the Chinese people who have to make those all day long in very hard conditions (they take an unscheduled bathroom break and get a deduction on their salary)...whatever my problems are, I’m better off than them. I saw a traffic light video of a Chinese guy on a bicycle, literally being run over by a bus, still emerging on the other side of the bus and going about his business on his wobbly bicycle, while nobody on the crowded sidewalk paid any attention to him. A person’s life has zero meaning in China.
I live in the US. You slip and fall and everybody around you is rushing to help you and very concerned to help you and calling 911, urging you not to move as you could have a broken vertebra that could be sharp and sever your spinal nerve if you move and then you become handicap, a paraplegic (legs) or quadriplegic (legs and arms if your injury was in the neck).
In the US, the paramedics will stabilize you (neck brace and stretching you), the ER doctors will schedule very expensive medical X-rays to determine if you have a fracture and if you do, you’ll be immobilized for months (hanging flat upside down, no less, to alleviate pressure on your spine) until your bones heal.
In China, you just get back up after a fall or being run over by a BIG BUS, and hope for the best. When life has no meaning, handicap people wish they would be ants. Have you ever seen an injured ant being carried by another ant? I always wonder what they do after they get that injured ant back to wherever they live. My observations do not go underground so I can only assume. Do they have hospitals or do they recycle that injured ant for the evening stew?
I learn a lot by looking at animal and insect behavior...cats...ants. Animal lovers only wish that humans were more like animals. Animals do not kill for pleasure or torture. Even a mother cat bringing a cute baby rabbit as a prey to her cute kittens is doing it for practice lessons and to teach them how to hunt not for pleasure or torture. We need cats as predators. Eliminate cats (like when they killed cats during the inquisition as they were perceived as witches’ pets) and then get too many rodents (rats) that brought the great plague that killed half the population in Europe (not the rats, but the oriental rat fleas...another good thing coming from China).
I went on a tangent right there...let’s go back to your question.
(End of my answer coming up next...)
