Skip Tracers have the wonderful luxury of accessing hundreds of databases while at their 9-5 desk job. They can pretend to be somebody they are not while on the telephone, legally use cover names (if they are debt collectors in Colorado), and are able to use all kinds of clever and tricky little pretexts to get people on the phone. Getting a debtor or witness or subject of foreclosure to come to the door in person is a whole other story and art in and of itself.

What this means is that we, more often than not, end up having to locate a witness off a three year old piece of discovery which reflects the subject's address on the police report or accident report and in some cases, reflecting the subject's address as "homeless". Wonderful! Now the investigation begins from ground zero with nothing to really work with. The people we often find are not the types of people who are registered to vote, who are corporate officers, who run down to the local DMV to apply for a change of address when they move, and most likely don't apply at the post office for a forwarding address. Generally, a competent "skip tracer" is able to find these types of people searching the web and by accessing the many different available free databases and search engines like "Google" as is found on the internet.
Most likely, the people we end up having to find have a last known address which is that of a local homeless shelter.
Sure, we definitely have access to information and databases which can provide us with utility records, phone records, unlisted and non-published phone numbers, but more often than not, we end up having to do good ole fashioned street canvassing, people and neighbor interviewing, and dumpster diving. We do offer a very affordable and competitively priced "Flat Rate" service for finding missing judgment debtors, witnesses, and former home owners (during rule 120 procedures); aka "skips".
Usually as low as $275.00 (in-State) - If we don't find them, you only pay $75.00 to offset some of our expenses!*
*For us to take the case, you must be willing to pay an up-front expense fee of $75.00 to retain our services.
WHEN we find who you are looking for, we will bill the firm the remaining balance of the $275.00 (due upon receipt).
Our success ratio is 98% and our report includes a verified address from more than one information source and usually a landline or mobile phone contact number!
